• Professional CGMS
  Bajaj & Co. Endocrinology offers patient trials of Dexcom & Abbott Freestyle Libre continuous glucose monitoring systems (CGMS). This allows the patient and physician to assess glucose for 72+ hours straight. Patients who are interested in a personal Dexcom can also try it out before purchasing their own personal device.

• Personal CGMS
  Personal CGMS training is provided in office for those on the Dexcom & Enlite CGMS. Our diabetes educators teach you how to program, wear, & interpret this novel device. A personal CGMS allows you to see your blood glucose in the moment, where blood glucose is heading, & trending. Please note, in the event that your physician orders your CGMS, you will be asked to complete training in house prior to your CGMS being sent home with you.

• At Bajaj & Co. Endocrinology, our Certified Pump Trainers (CPT) educate patients in the office on a variety of pumps including Animas, Medtronic, Omnipod, Tandem, & VGo. We offer pre-pump, pump initiation, & pump follow-up consults to best meet your pump needs. The CPT and your physician work together to assure your optimal insulin pump experience. Please note, in the event that your physician orders your insulin pump, you will be asked to complete training prior to your pump being sent home with you.

• Each of our providers has been trained to personally perform in-office Thyroid Ultrasounds making access available during your regular appointment time. Additionally, Dr Bajaj has received the prestigious designation as ECNU, or as having received an Endocrine Certification in Neck Ultrasound. Bajaj & Co. Endocrinology has also received National Certification as an Accredited Ultrasound Practice in the area of Dedicated Thyroid/Parathyroid Ultrasound by the American Institute of Ultrasound Medicine. Diagnostic and monitoring ultrasounds may be performed at your appointment for the management to make the process the most efficient and effective as possible.

• Dr. Bajaj is specially trained to perform fine needle aspirations and biopsies in the clinic with ultrasound guidance. Bajaj & Co. Endocrinology has established excellent relationships with their preferred pathologist who they trust to interpret your biopsy sample.  If you are a new patient, an ultrasound of your thyroid will be performed to confirm the need and specific sites that require a fine needle aspiration.  The next step will be to schedule a dedicated appointment for the procedure.  This procedure typically takes under 10 minutes, and patients are able to drive home.  The results are usually back within a couple of weeks.
